Troop 10 has a very rich history. We have been chartered with Morton Memorial since 1927. Unfortunately, there were some gaps in that time span. In November 1980, a team was assembled to reactivate Troop 10.  The team consisted to four Eagle Scouts, Tom Atkins, Don Edds, John Meyer Jr., and Rev. Rick Olson, and a Life Scout Jimmy Spieth.  They were supported by a committee consisting of Everett Stonecipher, Chuck Edds, Sam Faulkner, Harold Jones, and John Meyer Sr.  Tom Atkins was Scoutmaster and Chuck Edds was Committee Chairman.  What a foundation they laid.  The Troop won 3rd place at their first competition since their rebirth.  The Troop has graduated 23 Eagles, has been to summer camp 23 years, and even traveled to Washington DC, Charleston SC, Space Camp at Huntsville AL, West Virginia, Mobile, AL,Yellowstone National Park and Mt Rushmore.
